WEEK 2 FAVORITE BOOKS
I have always loved Eric Carle books. The illustrations are great and the stories are always a hit with the children. During my career I have made felt stories to accompany them to get children involved in the story .
I love these books. I am especially fond of Brown bear Brown bear. I used to read that book to my daughter every night when she was 2 1/2 and she memorized it. She had people thinking she was reading the book for real. Everytime I see it I always smile.
These are great books. I especially love his repetitive phrases so after a few reads, the kids get to "read" the book too. My daughter has a grouchy lady bug stuffed animal and just loves it, I always think of Eric Carle when I see her play with it.
OMG, I just love Eric Carle!! He is by far one of the most famous children's author. He was one of the first author's I learned about when I began my study in early childhood. I love his illustrations also.
Love to read those books to my students. You are ahead of all of us.
